モトGPは夏季休暇を終了、今日からチェコで再開した。このあとは残りの7戦で4つの大陸を巡る終盤戦に突入する。前回のラグナセカでは劇的な勝利を挙げたV・ロッシが、フリープラクティス1日目で2位を獲得。C・ストーナーがトップのタイムを記録した。
テック3ヤマハ・チームのC・エドワーズとJ・トーズランドはそれぞれ7位と13位。ふたりは第1セッションでYZR-M1の最新型エンジンを初めてテスト。新型エンジンは回転、馬力ともに向上しており、いずれも好感触を得ている。しかしその他の問題があり性能を最大限に使い切れず、上位を狙うには至らなかった。エドワーズは1分58秒672のタイムでミシュラン勢トップの７位。トーズランドは残り13分までトップ10を目指していたが、下りのケビン・シュワンツ・コーナーでコースアウトするアクシデントがあり13位に後退した。

I know of several folks who have decided to stop contributing to their 421k’s and other retirement accounts and start putting that money towards paying down their mortgage. Right now I put $250/paycheck into my retirement fund, and yet my balance is less than it was six months ago. Is it smarter to just keep with the traditional wisdom of investing the same amount no matter how the market is going, or is a diversion into debt reduction a smart move? FYI I’m about 15 miles out from retirement.
